On completion of a bulk back-scan or a needs assessment, for various reasons some clients elect to in-source their day forward document conversion process but have no idea where to start.

One of DMS’s unique service offerings is providing assistance to our client to set up a fully functional document conversion department.

Once Off Assistance

DMS provides the following assistance in this regard:

  • Sourcing of the most suitable scanners to suit both current and future production requirements
  • Sourcing of the most suitable software requirements
  • Layout and set up of work space and infrastructure for optimal production
  • Set up and configuration of all hardware and software
  • Assistance to source suitable staff
  • Provision of detailed on the job training to the client’s staff members in the document conversion procedure customised to suit the clients unique requirements
  • Provision of a step-by-step customised Document Conversion Procedure Manual
  • Monthly service contract to provide on-call assistance during the teething stage.

On-going assistance

DMS also contract our fully trained staff out to clients who prefer to use their own infrastructure but require experienced staff to carry out the conversion process. Depending on our client’s needs, DMS staff members are contracted out on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
